Joyce Guinn 64 of Rice Lake died on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at her residence in Rice Lake.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake with Raymond and Irene Auginaush officiating. Visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday and continue until the time of service. Interment will be at the Pine Bend Cemetery south of Lengby. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Joyce was born January 31, 1953 in Cass Lake, Minnesota the daughter of John and Elsie (Skunk) Bush. She lived in many communities where her father worked as a woodsman. She spent 2 years in Littlefork moving to Bagley in 1962. She attended school for 9 months in Cleveland, Ohio studying nursing and cosmetology under the job corps. She worked at Stinars Nursery and the Beltrami Nursing Home,

She married Roy Guinn Sr. in 1974 and he died on October 17, 2013.

Joyce enjoyed playing whist, shaking dice, playing dominos, visiting with grandchildren and friends, and listening to music.

She is survived by: Two Daughters- Darlene (Robin) Baldwin of Mahnomen, MN

Denille Thompson of Bagley, MN

Three Sons- Donovan, Thomas, and Dylan Guinn all of Bagley, MN

Three Sisters- Lucille Noll of Mahnomen, MN

Rose Hooper of Duluth, MN

Clarice Fiskari of Duluth, MN

11 grandchildren-

One Brother- Emery Bush of Moose Lake, MN

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 children-Roy Jr. and Maria Guinn,

And 3 brothers.
