Michelle Ruth LaDue-Cory

December 17, 1973 ~ January 25, 2022 (age 48)

Michelle Ruth LaDue- Cory was born December 17, 1973, in Cloquet, Minnesota. She was joined by adoption into the LaDue and Safar families the summer of 1974 to the joy of everyone, she was the daughter of Virgil and Marge (Safar) LaDue.

Michelle attended Waubun elementary and high school, graduating in 1992. She moved to Webster, South Dakota for a few years where she worked as a waitress at Perebooms café. She returned to the Ogema area in 1996. She married Anthony Cory on May 5, 2007, in White Earth, MN. They resided on the Safar family farm in rural Ogema. Michelle worked various jobs through the years from selling Mary Kay cosmetics to working in the greenhouse. She loved her kids, grandkids, and animals especially her horses.

Michelle is survived by her husband Anthony Cory, Sons Ben (Melissa) Soyring, Skyler (Taylor) Soyring, Preston LaDue, Terron Gettel, and daughter Maggie Jo Cory, five grandsons which were the pride and joy of her life Eli, Treyton, Xavier, and Lincoln: Ben and Mellissa's boys. Memphis, Skyler, and Taylor's son; all from the rural Ogema/Waubun Area. Stepfather and mother Merlyn and Marge Jirava of Webster, SD Brother James LaDue. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Virgil LaDue, baby brother Zachary LaDue, grandson Bernard Soyring IV, all her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.

May she rest in peace in the arms of the Angels
