Guadalupe "Lupe" Andrade Barraza

July 15, 1947 - March 17, 2022

Guadalupe Andrade Barraza, "Lupe", age 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 17, 2022. He was born on July 15th 1957 to parents Magdaleno Barraza and Carlotta Andrade Olivas in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua.

He moved to Minnesota where he started a life, married Karen Pottratz Andrade in 1985 in Wood Lake MN, had two children, son Roberto (Bobby) Andrade and daughter Rosita Andrade Davis.

He graduated from Vo-Tech in Granite Falls MN and worked for Schwan's Foods in Marshall MN. Later he moved to Minneapolis. Guadalupe enjoyed anything involved with Gold and Silver. He always wanted to gold mine on his land in Mexico.

He enjoyed being with his family especially his granddaughter Jaslyn. Lupe was healer. He loved giving, he loved people, and wouldn't think twice to help if he could. He had so much positive energy. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many more he chose as family.

He is survived by his children Roberto "Bobby" Andrade, Natalie Murphy, granddaughter Jaslyn of St. Paul, MN, Rosita Andrade Davis and Dalshun Davis of St. Louis Park, MN. And many more family and close friends as family.

Funeral service took place on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 12 pm, with visitation held for 2 hours before the service, from 10 am to Noon. A meal will follow the service. Service was held at the Division of Indian Work in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Inurnment will be in Mexico at a later date.
