Margaret Lorraine "Dolly" Basswood age 80 of Pine Point, MN passed away July 26, 2021 at Sanford hospital in Fargo, ND. Dolly was born on January 28, 1941 to Anna & Albert Basswood Sr. She lived most of her life in Pine Point/Ponsford area. As a young woman Dolly would harvest wild rice with her father, she played softball and was a headstart teacher's assistant for many years. She enjoyed watching sports, playing bingo, going to the casino, puzzle books and spending lots of time with family.

Dolly is survived by her son Donovan Basswood, grandchildren Elijah Annette, Donnie Basswood Sr., Zachery Basswood, Alex Basswood, Kyle Basswood, Jeremiah Basswood, great grandchildren Stewie, Paige, Danika, Donna Mae, Donnie Jr., siblings Delmar "Tonto" (Gina) Basswood, Pat Miller, Sandi (Butch) Smith, and many nieces & nephews.

Dolly is preceded in death by her parents Albert & Anna Basswood Sr., her significant other, Malcolm Norcross, siblings Maynard Basswood, Richard Basswood Sr., Rolland Basswood, Jenny Mae Basswood, Rosetta Basswood, Doris Weaver, Mary Lou (Tiny) Basswood, Chinda Rock, and Debbie Conklin.
