Warca Toh Toh Winyan "Blue Flower Woman" Jordyn Violet Ross Blueshield, precious child of Justine and Jaston passed from this earth and to her heavenly home on Friday, September 13, 2019 at her home in Tokio, ND.

The Wake for Jordyn will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Dakotah Oyate Lutheran Church, rural Tokio, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of prayer at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Tokio will leave on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. from the City Plaza.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, September 19th at 10:00 a.m. also at the Dakotah Oyate Church with Reverend Larry Thiele officiating. Jordyn will be laid to rest in the Native American Cemetery, rural Tokio.

Jordyn Violet, daughter of Jaston Blueshield and Justine Ross was born on July 23, 2019 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Jordyn was brought home to Tokio where she received the loving, tender, skilled care of her parents, family and Altru Hospice.

In this very short life, Jordyn Violet knew and gave so much love to so many. Jordyn Violet's bright shining eyes, her smile radiated so much joy, so much beauty, so much love. She will be in our hearts and memories forever.

Jordyn Violet is survived by her loving family. Her parents Justine and Jaston; brother Julian; sisters Myanna and Jaycee; grandparents Joan RedFox, Nathaniel IronRoad, Karen and Kenny Longie, Tyrone Ross, Curtis Ross, Peter Ross and Alvin BlueShield; great great grandmother Evelyn Ross; aunties Gina DeMarce, Jaylene Little, Mandy Ross, Kristen Ross, Nicole BlackBull, Lacy BlackBull, Erin BlackBull, Monae Mendoza, Jennifer Vega, Sherilyn Thiele, Kim Thiele, Derikah WhiteShield, Brittney Pretty Weasel, Kayla Johns, Jackie RedFox, Tristan RedFox, Hailey RedFox and Kersten RedFox; uncles Delson Little, Keahna Little, Vandis Little, Jayvonn Little, Jore Thomas, Michael Kidder, Isaiah RedFox, Tyler Ross, Zachary Dolen, Zane Ross, Skye Sanchez and Felipe Mendoza; special cousins Randel Pearson Jr., Mack Pearson, Sakowin Pearson, Wakinyan Pearson, Vandis Little, Lorenzo Vega, Seja Vega and Jada Vega. All other family members too numerous to mention, but we thought of you all and asked God to bless you all.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Beverly Jumping Elk, Suzanne Sleeping Bear and Melinda Plumen all of South Dakota, great grandparents Grandpa Glen Ross, Lincoln and Violet Blueshield, great great grandpa John Ross and cousins Jaycene Pearson and Morning Star Pearson.

Pallbearers will be Keahna Little, Joey BlueShield, Felipe Mendoza and Skye Sanchez.
