Tessa Kay Fairbanks, age 20, journeyed to the Spirit World on April 9, 2019.

She was born on February 1, 1999 in Minneapolis, MN the daughter of Tala Fairbanks and Antonio Whipps.

Tessa was an outgoing, kind, smart and funny person who loved her baby and loved being a mom. She enjoyed writing and kept a journal. She loved visiting with her family and friends and enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her parents; daughter Malia Fairbanks; brothers Antonio Johnson and Antonio Fairbanks; sister Teeya Bellanger; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service for Tessa Fairbanks was held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Church of Blessed Kateri in Minneapolis. Pastor Barbara Fairbanks officiated.

An all-night wake was held Friday, April 12, 2019 beginning at 6:00 PM at Church of Blessed Kateri.

Casket bearers were Jamison Cox, Robin Cox, Antonio Fairbanks, Antonio Johnson, Antonio Whipps, and Richard Fairbanks.
