Alfred Joseph BringsThem, age 60, of Minneapolis, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on October 29, 2016. He was born on October 13, 1956 in Fort Yates, North Dakota the older of twin boys to Elizabeth BearGhost and Sampson BringsThem.

Alfred enjoyed playing the piano and guitar. He was in the National Guard for a short period of time. Alfred moved to Minneapolis in the late ‘70’s from Fort Yates, ND. He led an eventful life in the Twin Cities, making people laugh and smile at the things he said and did. He loved the Marie Sandvik Center, getting the old ladies nervous, telling them jokes until they laughed!

He is survived by his brothers Richard BringsThem of Cleveland, OH, twin brother Allan BringsThem of Duluth, MN, Ronald BringsThem of Minneapolis, MN, Robert BringsThem of Grand Forks, ND; sisters Collette BringsThem of Duluth, MN and Doris BringsThem of Minneapolis, MN; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Elizabeth BringsThem and Sampson BringsThem; brother Darryll BringsThem; and niece Kelly Ann Hanks.

An all-night wake will be held on Thursday, November 3 beginning at 7 PM at the Little Earth Community Gym.

Funeral services for Alfred BringsThem will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Little Earth Community Gym. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN at noon.

Honorary casket bearers will be all of Alfred’s family and friends.

Casket bearers are Sheyenne Hanks, Ronald BringsThem, Wayne Martin, Angela Hanks, Aaron Morrison and Robert BringsThem.
