SECRETARY (INDIAN & FREE PREVENTION/TREATMENT PROGRAM)

CHEMICAL HEALTH PROGRAMS

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide secretarial support to the Indian & Free Supervisor and staff, reports to Supervisor of the Indian & Free Program and Executive Director of the Chemical Health Programs. Full-time position w/benefits, salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Punctual in work attendance

• Maintain office filing system

• Answer telephones, rout calls to appropriate personnel, greet visitors and refer to appropriate personnel

• Maintain current list of phone extensions for all staff members

• Prepare staff time sheets and up keep leave records accurately

• Purchase, keep inventory and distribute office supplies and materials

• Prepare purchase orders for payment of invoices, and maintain accurate records on all transactions

• Assist staff with scheduling of prevention activities

• Assists in maintaining client files

• Understand and abide by confidentiality rules and regulations

• Refrain from using mood alternating chemicals. Participate in mandatory drug/alcohol testing when called upon

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• GED/High School diploma

• Secretarial Certificate from an accredited vocational school

• One (1) year experience in office procedures

• Ability to deal with the public

• One (1) year chemically free

• Possess and show proof of a valid driver's license and auto insurance

• Ability to follow orders precisely and cooperate with other staff

• Proficiency using computer software; i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
