Andrew Lundon Jr. “Drew”, age 4 months of Waubun, MN, died at Mahnomen Health Center on April 30, 2013.

Andrew William Lundon Jr., the son of Andrew Lundon Sr. and Cady Bellanger, was born on December 18, 2012 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. He spent much of his life traveling between his home in Waubun and Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Although Drew was only with his family for a few short months his parents, grandparents, all those who loved him truly cherished each moment. They spent many hours cuddling, giving hugs, and spending precious time together. He was just beginning to share smiles and coo’s, especially while getting his tiny toes massaged. Drew was a precious gift and will forever be in the hearts of his family.

Drew is survived by his parents, Cady and Andrew; his grandparents: Darla Kier of Waubun, Del (Tammy) Bellanger of Mahnomen, MN, Donna (Greg) Bjerk of Fertile, MN, and Kenny Gordon of Rice Lake, MN; great grandparents: Elisa Bellanger, Bill and Lois Lundon, and Steve and Stella Leslie, all of Mahnomen; and his aunts and uncles: Jaci (Justin), Jake (Jessica), Hunter, Austin, Brady, Kenly, Knoah, Kapri, and Holden; as well as many extended family members who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Wilfred and Julia Kier, Delos “Big Joe” Bellanger, and Danny Goodwin. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5-7pm, with a Prayer Service at 7pm, at Anderson~Mattson Funeral Home in Mahnomen.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at St. Michael’s Church in Mahnomen, MN. Traditional Ojibwe Services will be held following Saturday’s service at Darla Kier’s home in Waubun.

Interment will be at the Kier Family Cemetery in Naytahwaush, MN.
