    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —A baby left on Interstate 40 earlier this week is OK, but the mother is in plenty of trouble. And it’s not her first run-in with the law. Georgette Vigil, 36, has a criminal record that dates back 15 years, police say. The first arrest was back in 2001. She was charged with being under the influence.   • Chickasaw Nation Celebrates Fiftieth Anniversary of Housing Authority

    In 1966, three years after Overton James was appointed Governor of the Chickasaw Nation, the tribe created the Chickasaw Housing Authority. This February, the tribe celebrates 50 years of providing housing services to its citizens.
