Joyce Ella Littlewolf, age 65 of Minneapolis, Journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born March 30, 1952 in Hibbing, Minnesota, the daughter of Steve and Marie Frances (Johnson) Littlewolf.

Joyce grew up in Hibbing with her thirteen siblings. She was a 1970 graduate from Hibbing High School. In April of 2001, Joyce earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Metro State University. She was a proud Army Veteran, serving as a dental hygienist in the military.

Joyce was a loving mother, sister and friend who always wanted to help everyone. She was a foster care mom, and worked with the Minnesota Chippewa Tribe helping with adoption. Joyce enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, shopping and buying gifts for her nieces, nephews and family, and she enjoyed going to the Congregate Dining at the American Indian Center and socializing with her friends.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents: Steve and Marie Frances Littlewolf; siblings: Carol Littlewolf, Janice Nelson, Brenda Littlewolf, Richard Littlewolf, Kenneth Littlewolf; niece: Faye Nelson; infant nephew; and many aunts and uncles.

Joyce is survived by her son: Arlen Littlewolf; siblings: Cedric Littlewolf, Donna Day, Timothy (Laura) Littlewolf, Ronald (Jenny) Littlewolf, Della Littlewolf, Cheryl Littlewolf, Brian (Kristy) Littlewolf, Verna King; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 9:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 5:00 PM, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 1901 Portland Ave S, Minneapolis. A second funeral service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:30 AM, with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM, at Alliance Church in Cass Lake, MN. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN.
