Monaya Michelle Loud, age 41, of the Eagle Clan, travelled to the spirit world on Friday, December 30, 2022, in Minneapolis, MN.

Monaya was born on April 8, 1981, in Bemidji, MN, to Margo Loud and Darrell Geshick. Monaya enjoyed going out with friends and loved to have a good time. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and children.

She will be lovingly remembered by her parents: Margo Loud and Darrell Geshick; children: Jerrell Schoenborn, Nicholas Schoenborn, Christopher Loud, Anthony Loud, Adrianna Loud, Eligio Loud, Brianna Loud; three grandchildren: Arianna Schoenborn, Jerrell Schoenborn, Jr., and Isabella Schoenborn; brothers: Lester Loud, Sr., Kit Norby, Darrell Loud, and Eldon Loud; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Family greeting her in the spirit world are her grandmother, Mary Black; brother, Cody Loud; uncles: Ricky and David Castanada.

The wake will begin at Noon on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Ponemah Boys & Girls Club in Ponemah and continue until the service on Monday, January 9, 2023. Active casketbearers will be: Jerrell Schoenborn, Lester Loud, Sr., Nick Schoenborn, Chris Loud, Eldon Loud, and Kevin Schoenborn. Honorary casketbearers will be: Marcy Torres, Carene Fineday and family and friends. Burial will be at the Ponemah Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN.
