Duane Anthony Beaudreau, Sr., age 85, of Cass Lake, MN, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. He was born May 31, 1937, in Cass Lake, the son of Emily (Fineday) and Louis Beaudreau.

Duane enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, and watching his Westerns on television. He was known for his teasing and joking. Duane liked to travel and see new places. He enjoyed working, he didn't quite know what to do with himself after retirement. He always liked spending time with his late brothers, and his great-grandchildren. Duane was a Minnesota Vikings fan. Duane will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Duane was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Gloria Beaudreau; daughter, Jolynn Beaudreau; parents, Emily and Louis Beaudreau; brothers, Felix, Robert, Leonard Beaudreau, Sr .; sisters, Doreen Whipple, Leona Command, Geraldine Lentz, Meg St. John; niece, Barbie Beaudreau; granddaughters, Kimberly and Nicole Beaudreau; and great-grandson, Baby Kevin Finn.

Those Duane leaves behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Duane (Donna) Beaudreau, Jr. of Cass Lake, Carl Day of Walker, MN; daughters, Patricia Beaudreau of Cass Lake, Diane (Mike) McClain of Wadena, MN; nephews, Louie, Jimmy, Robert, Willy Joe, Tom; nieces, Audrey, Elaine, Mary, Emily; grandchildren, Desiree, Jayme, Destinee, Deanna, Amber, Dana, Brittany, Danielle, Deidre, Ian, Diandra, Morgan, Edward; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial for Duane will be held Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cass Lake, MN. Father Kuriakose Nediakala will officiate. Urn bearer for Duane is Desiree Finn. Honorary urn bearers are all his family and friends. Interment will follow services and be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN.
