Jordan L. Markie, Manidoo Inini – "Spirit Man", age 19, of Edina, MN, travelled to the Spriit World on Monday, August 22, 2022, in Eden Prairie, MN.

Jordan was born on February 20, 2003, in Puposky, MN, to his parents, Sarah and Hayes. Jordan grew up in Andover and Edina, graduating from Edina High School. Jordan had many hobbies and interests. He loved music, especially rap, played piano and wrote his own songs. He found anything to do with cowboys fascinating. He was gifted with his hands and enjoyed woodworking and metal fabrication. He was interested in medieval history, loved swords and even made his own costumes and fabricated a metal suit of armor. His will be remembered as a quiet, sweet, well dressed, kindhearted kid who loved his family.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Sarah Van Bogart and Hayes Markie; siblings: Nikita (Luke) Markie, Timber Markie, Ethan Van Bogart, Mia Van Bogart, and Enzo Van Bogart; his first newborn nephew, Calvin; maternal grandparents: Cy and Judi Stellmach, Craig Kercheval and Marsha Rice; special auntie, Pam Martin; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Those greeting Jordan in the spirit world are his paternal grandparents: Georgina Martin and Bill Spears; auntie, Mary Neeland; as well as other relatives.

The wake will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the Red Lake Center in Red Lake and continue until the service at 11A.M. on Monday, August 29, 2022, with Allen Hardy as spiritual leader.
