Tonya Marie Bellecourt, age 56 of Minneapolis, Minnesota journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at her home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on October 30, 1965 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Clyde Bellecourt and Peggy Holmes. She loved to drive around. Tonya loved and cared for her family, and to help others in need. When visiting in Las Vegas, she saw and fell in love with Wayne Newton. Fall was her favorite season. She lived life to the fullest and on her own terms, and loved to laugh. Tonya like wrestling and went to several pro-wrestling matches and several concerts. Loved listening to music. She was employed at Vision Loss Resources.

She is survived by her daughter: Isabella Escarcega; brothers: Crow Bellecourt and Wolf Bellecourt; sisters: Susan Bellecourt and Maria Cloud; uncle John Livingston; aunts: Diane Livingston, Mary Turcios and Katie Denomie; and many other loving family and friends.

Preceded in death by her grandparents: Isamu Haikida and Florence Homes; parents: Cylde Bellecourt and Peggy Bellecourt; uncle: Bruce Livingston
