Skywarn Training available

The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office Division of Emergency Management will be hosting a Skywarn severe weather spotter class on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at 6:30PM in the Beltrami County Emergency Operations Center at 613 Minnesota Ave NW.

Skywarn is the National Weather Service’s (NWS) program of volunteer severe weather spotters who provide severe weather reports to the NWS. No prerequisites or experience are required for this basic class. The free training is open to the public who have an interest in learning more about severe weather.
