DATA ENTRY/CERTIFICATION/CAP SPECIALIST

Red Lake Nation CAP Program

PRIMARY FUNTION:

Ensure that goals and objectives of the CAP program are met. Reports to Assistant CAP Director, full time with benefits, salary; DOQ.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Complete intake forms and verifications of income eligibility for the CAP Program.

• Assist program participants with filling out applications.

• Assists with maintaining inventory and accurately enters in all inflows and outflows on an established tracking system.

• Provides program support with clerical tasks.

• Consistently demonstrates good work habits, initiative and enthusiasm and invests in learning opportunities to discover, develop and apply new skills.

• Demonstrates the ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, outside agencies and the public with emotional maturity, good judgement, tact and courtesy.

• Efficiently communicates and carries out oral and written instructions.

• Assists with managing weather related projects, complies with policy and procedures.

• Responsible for validation of crisis referrals.

• Assists with auditing, inspecting, work order review and release.

• Reviews and monitors client files and ensures compliance.

• Ensures client confidentiality according to regulations and agency policy.

• Conducts outreach to solicit contractors and consumers to achieve or exceed contractual outcomes.

• Greet general public in a professional manner at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• G.E.D or High School Diploma

• Must be computer knowledgeable using various software.

• Project and budget management experience is preferred.

• Knowledge of mission, organization, program requirements and policy and procedure of the program.

• Skills in effective and diplomatic oral and written communications in dealing with people and organizations.

• Employment contingent upon successfully passing Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Test and Background Check
