Maliyah Laura Provancial, (Winyan Kicidowan Iśteca Zi Wicanh'pi Wiyakpa), "She Sings for One Shy Yellow Star Brightness", age 16 of Moorhead, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on March 29, 2019.

She was born on September 4, 2002 in Bismarck, ND the daughter of Marcus Delvin Provancial and Misty Fawn Begay.

My baby, Maliyah Laura. God blessed me with her on her birthday and throughout her infant life she spent it with her immediate family. She was our baby throughout her young life, she didn't need friends because she had all her cousins. Everyone protected her and she had a very caring big brother, Shane, and big sisters, Shaylauna and Teyana. She was closest to her sister, Teyana. She was mostly raised by her "father figure" uncle Paul and auntie Mary. She attended various schools in South Dakota and Minnesota. When the family moved to Minnesota, all they had was each other and that was enough. When adversity arose, she was taken from the family and separated from each other but they stayed close and remained a family. This was so hard on her little soul but she became strong and overcame this adversity. She then became the strong one, telling others not to cry. Others knew she was crying out for help but her mom didn't, as she didn't tell her and didn't want her to worry. She was the strongest little girl that we will ever know, through all the difficulties, she remained strong until she couldn't anymore and had to go to heaven to be with her sister Shaylauna. We know they are celebrating together with no more tears and no more pain.

We believe that she was born an angel, sent to us to teach us strength through adversity.

We love you, my Mia!
