Carl Weldon Morris was born May 19, 1944, in North Carolina the eldest son of David and Mildred (McPhearson) Morris. He grew up in North Carolina where he attended grade school, graduated from high school and furthered his education at NC A&T. As a young man, Carl was married and blessed with three children. He loved to travel and in 1985 he moved to Minneapolis, MN. Carl met Debra Antell in 1988 and they were united in marriage on December 6, 1989.
