Veronica Provincial

eronica Marie Provincial, age 59, of Fort Thompson, South Dakota journeyed to the Spirit World on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at The Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was born in Wagner, South Dakkota on January 30th, 1953 the daughter of Lucille Jandreau and Melvin Provincial.

In 1968 she moved to Fort Thompson, South Daktoa with her mother and stepdad Eddie Hare.

She attended Crow Creek Elementary School up until 8th grade then attended Todd County High School in Mission, South Dakota in which she graduated in 1971.

She had two daughters: Michelle and Danielle Provincial. She then met her common-law husband: Charlie His Law in which they had four children: Gail His Law, Twila His Law, Kristy His Law and Charles His Law. She also raised her grandson Santana His Law.

Veronica worked at Crow Creek Head Start for seventeen years. From 1987 until 2005 in the Headstart Program as the Lead Teacher/Education Coordinator. During that time she received her CDA and Early Childhood Degree from Lower Brule Community College working on it in the evening and after work. She did not return to work due to medical complications.

She enjoyed working at the Headstart with all the little children!

Grateful for having shared her life: her ever loving partner Charlie; her six children in which four children survive: Michelle, Danielle, Gail, Twila, Charles and Kristy; eleven Grandchildren: LaLette, Tyrand, Jovun, Tatum, Vella, Adessa, Santana, Melaina, La-Mya, Laila & Mina.

She is preceded in death by her daughters: a little girl named Deanna Marie His Law and Michelle Provincial, her older sister: Sharon Primeaux, younger brother: Tyrone Hare, her mother and father: Lucille Jandreau and Melvin Provincial.

Funeral Services for Veronica Provincial will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at The Fort Thompson Community Center in Fort Thompson, South Dakota. Mother Liz & Pastor Lindale Howard will officiate. Interment will follow at The Episcopal Cemetery in Fort Thompson, South Dakota.

All night wakes will be held on Wednesday, January 30th and Thursday, January 31st beginning at 7:00 P.M. at The Fort Thomopson Commuinity Center in Fort Thompson, South Dakota.

Special Music by Nancy Hunter. Drum Group will be “Bad Nation”.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Phyllis Comes Flying, Nancy Hunter, Lynn Harrison, Eva Fallis, Barbara Blaine, Ruth Johnson, Dena His Law, Enore Marks and All other family and friends

Casket Bearers will be: Stephan Flute, Robert Kennedy Jr., Isaac Primeaux Jr., Anthony Aungie, Kevin Red Buffalo and Terry Black Lance

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, Minnesota is serving the family.
