LaRose grateful to band members

To the Leech Lake Reservation Band membership:

I want to thank you all for allowing me to be your tribal leader the last 10 years. I was honored to represent Leech Lake on the reservation and at the state and federal levels.

Being Secretary/Treasurer for six years and Chairman for the last four years, I represented all three districts on the reservation. I want to thank all my people for their courtesy, time, and friendships you have shown me over the years.

I congratulate Carri Jones and LeRoy Fairbanks on their winning the 2012 elections for Chairman and District 3 Representative. I wish them both good luck. I know there are some big projects out there that need to be finished on behalf of the Leech Lake Reservation.
