Hazel Jean Casey

Hazel Jean Casey, 66, of Cass Lake, died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

A wake service began at 9 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 4, and will continue until the 11 a.m. service Friday, all at the Veteran’s Memorial Building in Cass Lake. Arrangements are with Northern Peace Funeral Home of Walker, MN.

She is survived by her husband, Tom, of Cass Lake; daughters, Jo Hilde of Superior, Wis., and Samantha Casey of Cass Lake; 25 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lucille Wakanabo of Cass Lake.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Toni Casey; and a granddaughter.
