He was born November 03, 1947 in Red Lake, Minnesota, the son of Thomas and Delphine “Duffy” Fuller. Vernon was a full blood, enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians. Vernon grew up in Red Lake, attending St. Mary’s Mission School, and graduating from Red Lake High School in 1965.
