    A retirement Open House in Honor of Diane Schwanz was held on Thursday, May 10th at 5:00 p.m. in the High School Foyer. Stories were shared, as well as a collection of photographs from her 33 years at Red Lake, and her critically acclaimed videos from Project Preserve--one of which she played one of the characters and was put in jail for selling USDA Commodity cheese.     Bemidji, Minn. – The Beltrami Electric Indoor Garage Sale held May 5 raised over $4,400 for the United Way of the Bemidji Area. The 6th annual event, which featured 72 booth spaces rented by 53 vendors, saw approximately 1,450 bargain hunters pay a one-­dollar entrance fee for access to the sale.
