  • Red Lake man convicted of stabbing his cousin

    BEMIDJI -- A Red Lake man has been convicted of stabbing one of his cousins and attempting to stab another. Benjamin One Deer Hart was convicted of two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury, according to the press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. He was convicted by a federal jury following a two-day trial. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
