    One shoe on, one shoe off and coatless, Jason Lee King ran from his jailers Tuesday across snowy ground in Bemidji after somehow getting out of his leg shackles. He remains on the loose, thought to be hiding out on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. King, 21, had been behind bars in Bemidji on armed robbery charges since December. But on Tuesday he ran from jailers taking him to a medical appointment in Bemidji.     A former superintendent of the Cass Lake-Bena School District died Tuesday after falling through the ice near Pierre, S.D., while trying to rescue his dog.
