A woman's body wrapped in a blanket was found in a wooded area found Saturday night off of Minnehaha Avenue near Johnson Parkway. A neighborhood resident found the body around 9 p.m. on the 1400 block of Minnehaha Avenue East, St. Paul police spokesman Sgt. Paul Paulos said. It was purposely thrown into the area, he said. It was transported to the Ramsey County medical examiner. The woman's age and identity hasn't yet been released. Police suspect foul play was involved.
