Vernon K. Renville Jr., “Wambdi Mani O Yaka” (Sees the Eagle Walking), age 31, of Sisseton, South Dakota Journeyed to the Spirit World on Saturday, November 22, 2014. He was born in Sisseton, South Dakota to Maria Redday-DeCoteau and Vernon “Pasa” Renville Sr. Vernon Redday was a very loving and caring young man. His compassion was love and caring for friends and relatives. Vernon stood up for what he loved. . .and that was 1.) his Beasties, all of them 2.) his Two Spirited Society he organized and started. That was his passion. Vernon loved to play Bingo and mainly his “Rewards”-Always looking for someone to go “HAM” with. (Right Billie Renville). He was a free spirit, he did and went where he pleased, and did this with “ALL” his Beasties. Vernon was the type of person to go out of his way to help who ever needed help! He would say mom “I’m driving again, but I’ll be home later.” Vernon will be always remembered and missed by all!

Yates, Brenda Redday of Bismarck, Bonita Wilson of Sisseton, Vernetta K. Renville of Sisseton, Dawn Renville of Sioux Falls, Holly Renville of Granite Falls, Angel Renville of Sisseton, Phyllis Roberts of Sisseton, Maxine (Darrell) Renville of Lake Traverse and Delorse Wilson of Sisseton; uncles Emmett Redday, Richard “Duke” Wilson, Dennis (Sandra) Redday, Gordon Redday, Morgan (Darlene) Redday and Howard Redday Jr. all of Sisseton; sister: Carrie Greely of Sisseton; grandmother Ione Eagle of Waubay, grandmother Vernice Feather of Sisseton; many, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
