Avielle Jane Johnson, 1 ½ of Red Lake, MN died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Centracare Health in Monticello, MN.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Little Rock Community Center in Red Lake, MN with Rev. George Ross officiating. A wake will begin 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Little Rock Community Center and will continue until the time of service. Interment will be at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji.

Avielle was born September 3, 2012 in Bemidji. Avielle had many hardships throughout her life, but she was a strong and happy baby. She always had a smile on her face and a laugh while she was visiting family and friends. She enjoyed watching movies with her older brother Paul, Jr. Her favorite TV shows include Adventure Time, Regular Show, Daniel Tiger and other PBS kid's shows. Her favorite movies were Open Season, Toy Story, Flushed Away, Bee Movie and Curious George. She loved being read to, music, bubbles, her monkey toys, car rides, her swing, blanket and nuky. She loved her baby food, her finn and hello kitty toys. Avielle loved spending time with her brother Paul, Jr., and her "dada", mom and dad. She will be greatly missed and was loved by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her father: Paul Melvin Johnson, Sr. of Red Lake, mother Amber Jane May of Red Lake, brother Paul, Jr. ,grandfather Clem H. May, Sr. of Red Lake, grandmother Anita J. Kingbird of Red Lake, grandmother Peggy M. Owens of Redby, grandfather Kevin J. Johnson, Sr. of Ponemah, brother Paul M. Johnson, Jr. of Red Lake, maternal great grandfather of Gerald P. May, Sr. of Red Lake, maternal great grandmother Flora J. Jones of Red Lake, paternal grandmother Edna Johnson of Ponemah, maternal great grandmother Viola C. Kingbird of Red Lake, special aunt Ashley E. May of Red Lake, special aunt Corinne M. May of Red Lake, special aunt Shileen Kingbird of Red Lake, special aunt Sammi Desjarlait of Redby and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Charles L. Barrett, Sr., great grandfather Melvin Owens, Sr., great grandfather Paul Johnson, Sr., great great grandmother Margaret M. May, uncle Anthony A. May and great great grandfather Philip Mick May.
