BEMIDJI—A Red Lake man and a Redby man recently were sentenced in federal court to a combined 40 years in prison for crimes that occurred on the Red Lake Indian Reservation last year. On Thursday, April 23, 2015, the Red Lake Girls Softball Team hosted Nevis in a game that was originally scheduled for April 7, 2015, but had to be postponed due to the weather. The 10th Annual Red Lake Nation Youth Leadership Conference began on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 and will run through Friday, May 1, 2015, at Red Lake High School in Red Lake Minnesota.
