    CASS LAKE—About three miles from the Cass Lake Rest Area, multiple oil pipelines lie partially buried beneath reeds, cattails and water. Every so often, portions of the lines can be seen by those who know what to look for, and are willing to risk a trip into the soggy swamp.     On April 5th, 2017, the Headwaters SWAT Team was asked to assist in the apprehension of a suspect who was located in rural Clearwater County near Ebro by Beltrami County Investigators and BCA Agents. Police were investigating a stalking case which started at a residence in Northern Township north of Bemidji. The suspect was located by investigators as a residence in rural Clearwater County but he initially refused to surrender to authorities but eventually gave up to law enforcement negotiators.
