BEMIDJI, Minn. – Sanford Bemidji Medical Center was recently named to the Becker’s Healthcare list of “100 Great Community Hospitals” for the second year in a row.

Hospitals on this list are recognized for bringing clinical and academic excellence, personalized and holistic care and overall improved health to their communities. Becker’s also selects hospitals that have positively impacted local economies, made innovative changes with limited resources and more.

“We are honored to be recognized on the Becker's Healthcare Great Community Hospitals list for the second consecutive year,” said Karla Eischens, President and CEO of Sanford Health Bemidji. “This accolade reflects the unwavering dedication of our employees and clinicians, whose commitment to providing exceptional care and support to our community is truly commendable.”

Over the past decade, Sanford Bemidji Medical Center has invested more than $100 million to increase access to care.
