Lloyd Benedict Keoke, Hau Mahpiya Yuhomni Au "He who brings the Turning Cloud" age 71 of Onamia, Minnesota, Journeyed to the Spirit World on Friday, June 7, 2024 in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. He was born on March 7, 1953 in Sisseton, South Dakota the son of Levi Keoke Sr. and Doris Barse – Keoke

Lloyd loved his traditional ways from dancing, singing, and teaching. He gave in many ways, because he lived life returning to others, what he learned throughout his 71 years. He liked sharing and telling stories, so people learn their ways without regret. He was a Sundancer for many years with Danny Seaboy and family.

He went to Boarding School and serviced his country in the U.S. Military. Lloyd was an Alcohol Counselor for many years. Some of the things that Lloyd enjoyed doing were beading, sewing, talking on the phone to family and friends, gambling – pushing buttons. He was an artist and always full of laughs. Loved spending time at home around family, eating home cooked meals with nap time to follow shortly after. Lloyd was blessed with two sets of great grand baby twins.

Survived by his daughter: Rhonda Wilson; her children: Dusty Renville (Whitney Hannen) and their children: Daxtin Renville Lawrence, Creed Renville and twins: Bexley and Bellamy Renville; Kaycee Renville (Hayden Heinecke) and their children: Stetzen Renville and twins: Kinzley and Koe Heinecke; Ty Renville and Kelcee Renville: sister: Edna Max; brother: Levi Keoke Jr .; numerous nephews, nieces and significant other: Carol Sam and her extended family.

Preceded in death by his parents: Levi Koeke Sr. and Doris Barse – Keoke; sister: Eleanor Keoke -Beaudreau; brother: Quinton David Spider "Cooter"; grandson: Jerome Renville III; nephew: Shaun Beaudreau; nieces: Angela Keoke and Marissa Lewis; sister – in – law: Rose Keoke.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11. 2024 from 7:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. and Wednesday, June 12, 2024 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center in Sisseton, South Dakota.

A funeral service for Lloyd Keoke will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate Community Center in Sisseton, South Dakota.

Officiating will be Levi Keoke, Clyde Kampeska, John Cloud and Darrell Mireau

Pianist will be Billy Kohl

Drum Group will be all in attendance

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Colin Cash, Joseph Nayquonabi, Ben St. John, All of his Millac's Friends and all of his SWO family and friends.

Casket Bearers will be Garrett Keoke, Calvin Max, Jason Beaudreau, Eric DuMarce, Chad Keoke, Cody Seaboy, Londel Seaboy and Virgil Benjamin

Interment will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sisseton, South Dakota.
