Leslie (Lussier) Stone,60, of Red Lake, MN passed away on May 29, 2024, with her family by her side from Sandford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Leslie was born to Elmer Robert and Margaret (Spears) Lussier on February 19, 1964, in Red Lake, MN.

Leslie lived in Red Lake all her life where she met her husband Timothy Stone and were married on May 14, 2011. She loved her work at the Jourdain Perpich Extended Care Center. She loved to interact with the residents there. She also enjoyed going to bingo, visiting family and friends. Leslie could be found playing dominos, board games or doing a crossword puzzle to pass the time.

She was a big fan and supporter of the Red Lake basketball team and would go to all the games she could. She was always up for a cruise on the back roads as well.

At family get togethers she was the life of the party, when telling a story, she would laugh so hard she never finished the story leaving everyone to wonder what was so funny.

Those greeting Leslie are her parents; Robert and Margaret Lussier, brothers; Elmer Lussier Jr., Wayne Lussier Sr., Gilbert Lussier Sr. sisters; Roberta "Bobbi Ann" Lussier, and Darlene Needham. Nieces; Rose "Ree" Marweg, DeShanna Hallett, Latasha Kingbird. Nephews; Robert "Rob" Lussier Sr., Brandon Lussier Beaulieu, Rob" Robbie" Lussier, and Alan Lussier Sr.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her husband; Timothy Stone, children; Lester Lussier Sr., Darilyn Lussier, siblings; Twin Sister Linda K. Hallett, Maysa Lussier, Nonny (Ron) Sigana, Debbie Reynolds and Arlen (Eldora) Lussier Sr., grandkid's; Shaylynn, Darshawn, Skylah, Jerome, Lester Jr., and giizhi gookewe Natalie Rose Lussier.

A two-day wake for Leslie will begin at 4:00p.m., June 4th, at the New Little Rock Center, in Red Lake. Her Catholic funeral Mass will be held on Thursday June 6th, 2024 at 11:00a.m. with Father John leading the Mass. Leslie's active pallbearers will be Brent Sigana Sr., Elmer Beaulieu, Rob Lussier Jr., Chad Reynolds, Pete White, and Gilbert Lussier Jr. The alternate pallbearer will be Dewey Lussier. Honorary pallbearers will be Harlene Spears, Candy Spears, Berta (Ole) Spears, Roseann Spears, Cindy Lussier, Eldora Lussier, Linda (Rolly) Lussier, Sarah (Charlie) Reynolds, Michelle Reynolds, Inez Sigana, Diane Graves, Lenetta (Dean) Jourdain, Kim Barrett, Karen Donnell, Naomi Kingbird, John Lussier, Ted Gurneau, and Greg Branchaud. Interment will be immediately following her service at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, In Red Lake, MN.
