President Biden's Memorial Day 2024 Proclamation: Prayer for Peace

Monday. May 27, 2024 is recognized as Memorial Day across the United States.

It is a day to remember the women and men who gave their lives on behalf of their country.

On Friday, the White House released a presidential proclamation, entitled "A Proclamation on Prayer for Peace, Memorial Day, 2024."

"I hope you find a small measure of solace in knowing that we will never forget the price your loved one paid for our freedom - and we will never stop trying to repay the debt of gratitude we owe you and them," President Biden writes.
