Emanuel Nicholas James Davila “Tóhiŋni šni enakiya šni” (Never gave up, Never quit), age 25, of Sisseton, SD journeyed to the Spirit World on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in Portland, OR.

He was born on November 18, 1998 in Fargo, North Dakota the son of Marcos Davila and Lorae Lufkins.

While growing up, Emanuel was involved in football and basketball. He grew to love playing moccasin. Emanuel was a loving and caring person that enjoyed being with his children, niece, nephew and significant other. He will be greatly missed.

Survived by his siblings Chastity Lufkins, Alicia Schroeder, Consuelo Schroeder, Charity Davila, Antonio Davila and Marcos Davila Jr.; significant other Serena Flute; children Zazel Davila and Amina Davila; step-children John Cook and Marissa Cook; many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother Lorae (Lufkins) Mercado, father Marcos Davila Sr., maternal grandparents Naomi (Renville) Lufkins and Kenneth Lufkins; paternal grandfather Marcos Davila; and niece Haven Davila.
