Pamela Sue Mata, age 55 of Minneapolis, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on April 15, 2024 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was born on March 11, 1969 in Fort Yates, North Dakota the daughter of Leandro Mata and Nina Mata.

Pamela enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving mother. She worked as a Personal Care Attendant and a Blackjack dealer at the Mystic Lake Casino. Pamela loved wearing hats, watching cartoons and had a good sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh.

Survived by her sons: Michael Stand Sr., Robert Stand Jr., and Jacob Mata; 10 grandchildren; sisters: Jamie Mata and Bernadette Mata and brothers: David Mata, Daniel Mata and Lance Mata; many other loving relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by her daughter: Mariah Stand; parents: Leandro Mata and Nina Mata; brothers: James Mata and Michael Mata.

An all-night visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota

A funeral service for Pamela Mata will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
