Bemidji, Minnesota – Over the weekend, Republican delegates unanimously endorsed Bidal Duran Jr. for MN-House 2A and Representative Matt Bliss for 2B.

Duran, a Marine Corps Veteran with 11 years of service in law enforcement, was endorsed with a completely unanimous vote of confidence by the House 2A Delegates. As a proud graduate of BSU, Duran's commitment to public service is matched only by his academic pursuits; he holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Public Management and Leadership. Bidal and his college sweetheart, Rebecca, have been married for 16 years, have 3 daughters and have called Bemidji home since 2011. Representative Matt Bliss, a Northern Minnesota business owner, secured the Republican endorsement for his 4th term as Minnesota's House District 2B candidate with a completely unanimous vote of confidence by the House 2B Delegates.
