Red Lake School District #38 is accepting applications for the following position:

Position Description: School Psychologist or School Psychologist Intern*

Supervisor: Director of Special Services

Building: District Wide

Compensation: Competitive Annual Salary based on the Teacher's Master Agreement

Position Overview: A school psychologist or school psychologist intern provide direct and indirect educational and mental health services to students from prekindergarten through grade 12 / age 21. They consult and collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to create supportive learning and social environments for all students. The school psychologist or intern provides support in the identification, evaluation and implementation of programs and services for students with special needs.

*A school psychologist intern will be supervised by and work under the direction of a licensed School Psychologist.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. Be licensed as a School Psychologist in the state of Minnesota, have the ability to become licensed in Minnesota, or be enrolled in and have at least three years completed in a training program approved by the National Association of School Psychologists and have the ability to receive a permanent or temporary license from the Minnesota Professional Educators Licensing and Ethics Board

2. Demonstrate skills within each of the ten domains of service outlined in the Model for Comprehensive and Integrated School Psychological Services.

3. Display good communication and organizational skills and demonstrate a cooperative and collaborative attitude

4. Maintain professional personal appearance

5. Show willingness to assist where needed and have the ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of people, including colleagues, students, parents, and community members

6. Integrate Ojibwe Language and Culture into your workspace.
