Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig students celebrate 'I Love to Read Week'

Bug-O-Nay-Ge-Shig students participated in the national Read Across America Week, March 2-6, with a variety of classroom activities, dress-up days and a bookmark design competition.

Classes were given kits of activities put together by Media Specialist Laurie Jo Villwock and Secretary Sheryl Wilson. Each of the 15 kits contained a variety of paper puzzles, writing prompts, a Dr. Seuss book and art options for teachers to use, a release said.

Classes also participated in dress-up days, "Drop Everything and Read" challenges and a hunt for Dr. Seuss characters in the hall.
