Turtle River Lake Road NE Continued Closure and Project Update

Bridge construction will be paused on Turtle River Lake Road located 3.9 miles East of Trunk Highway 71. The new bridge will be passable to traffic on Wednesday, March 27. Bridge construction will begin on Turtle River Lake Road located 2.25 miles East of Trunk Highway 71 on Wednesday, March 27. The road will be closed until Wednesday, April 24 or until construction activities are complete. Please follow the signed detour. All dates are subject to variability dependent upon the weather. Construction activities involving grading, paving, and finishing operations will continue past the projected closure dates. Expect partial lane closures and delays during this time. Beltrami County Highway Department urges motorists to slow down and use caution when traveling in work zones.
