Jeani Irene Iceman (Goulet), First Nations of Canada, born August 12, 1955, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, started her journey into the Spirit World March 1, 2024, at home surrounded by family that loves her beyond infinity.

Jeani grew up in Minneapolis, MN where she met Calvin "Bimbo" Iceman and moved to Redby, MN in the 80's. Together they had three children, Seth, Shannon and George before separating after 19 years.

In 1994, she met the love of her life, Jeffrey Iceman. They were married in 1996 at Niagra Falls, New York and made their home in Blackduck, MN. They celebrated their 27th Wedding Anniversary in July. Jeani had such a heart of gold and so much love to give to children that she and Jeff raised as their own and fostered many throughout the years; Austindale and DreyShaun, her biggest boys that she and Jeff raised since they were babies and call her Mom. LaResha, Amanda, Alyssa, Joseph, Hazel, Courtney, Brittany, Amy and Robert were also very much loved as they were fostered in their home. Jeani loved and welcomed every child. She was an amazing mom, auntie and babysitter to so many.

The love she had for her nephew; Gilbert "Bucky" Iceman is what influenced her into the career field of Special Education for over 40 years. She was employed by Bemidji Regional Interdistrict Council where she served in Red Lake, Northhome and then gained a permanent position K-6 with Blackduck Public Elementary School. To hundreds of students over the decades, and many whom have graduated that now have their own families, she'll always be remembered as, "Miss Jeani." She absolutely loved her job and enjoyed making a difference alongside her fellow faculty members; Monica, Tara, and Tiffany.

Jeani was an amazing cook, she especially loved cooking for the holidays, and was known for her delicious grilled turkey. She loved spending time with her family, especially when her grandbabies, Cali and Aria stayed over the summertime. She liked to play keno at Warroad Casino and watched the Gameshow Network, Yellowstone and Big Brother on TV. She also had a green thumb and took great care of her flower garden and plants. She had an amazing smile that would light up a room and quite the sense of humor, she joked around and laughed right up to her last days.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Jeffrey Iceman of Blackduck; aunt, Geraldine Prefontaine of Manitoba, Canada; sister, Irene Hamilton of British Columbia, Canada; brother, Robert Budge of Manitoba, Canada; children: Seth Iceman of Bemidji, MN, Shannon Iceman of Burnsville, MN, George Iceman of Redby, MN, Austindale Iceman and DreyShaun White both of Blackduck, MN; grandchildren: Brendan Beaulieu, Lillie Hage, Tyler Jones, Cali and Ariah Iceman; cousins: Susan Glowachuk of Manitoba, Canada and Warren Goulet, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
