Bradley "Brad" Clark Johnson, Sr.

November 7, 1962 ~ February 13, 2024 (age 61)

Bradley "Brad" Clark Johnson, Sr., "Ozaawizi animikii inini" meaning "Brown Thunderbird Man", age 61, of the Eagle Clan and Ponemah journeyed to the Spirit World on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, MN. He was born on November 7, 1962, in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Roseadelle (Fairbanks) and Dallas Johnson.

Bradley was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, trapping, fishing, and logging. He loved the outdoors! When fishing would start, he would be out on the lake when the sun came up and heading off when the sun was going down. Brad shared stories of his logging days, how the wolves would be in the tree line watching him. Later in life, he would see a logging truck and say how he wished that he could be out in the woods. Brad loved his family very much. Every day he would ask if his granddaughter had called. Brad always made sure that everyone was ok, he was always there when you needed him. Brad enjoyed his weekly visits to the casino to play his favorite Cleopatra Keno machine. He was a very stubborn man, strong minded right to the end. Brad will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those greeting Brad in the spirit world are his parents, Roseadelle and Dallas Johnson; brother, Marlon Johnson; grandparents, Archie and Susan Fairbanks, Rufus and Ethel Johnson.

Those Brad leaves behind to forever cherish his loving memory are his sweetheart, Vicki Johnson; son, Bradley "Busky" Johnson, Jr .; daughter, Ashley (Tony) Johnson; brothers, Earl (Luann) Fairbanks and Mike (Eve) Beaulieu; sisters, Phyllis "Jetto", Glendoris, Winona "Noni", Rebecca, Julie, and Tina Johnson; uncle, Rudy Johnson; granddaughter, Aristea "Ari" Mortensen; and many nieces and nephews.

A two-night wake for Brad will begin on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. and continue until his traditional service on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., all to be held at the Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN.
