Funding Opportunity: Overdose Prevention Program Grant

GLITEC invites Tribes and urban Indian organizations in the Bemidji Area (Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Chicago) to submit applications for an overdose prevention program grant. The purpose of this funding is to strengthen Tribal and urban Indian communities’ overdose prevention efforts through Tribal overdose surveillance and expand access to culturally appropriate programs addressing health disparities and social determinants of health.

This opportunity will provide up to 11 awards to support projects addressing substance use and overdose prevention. The proposed project should be focused on overdose prevention related to opioids and other substance use and include at least one data measure. Many types of activities may be conducted.

Applications must be successfully submitted to Dr. Christina Denslinger (cdenslinger@glitc.org) by 4:30 pm CDT on the deadline date. Applications will be reviewed, and award notices will be issued within two weeks of the application submission deadline.
