Bobby Weaver

June 1, 2001 - February 2, 2024

Bobby Weaver, age 22, of Naytahwaush, MN, died Friday, February 2, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Bobby John Weaver was born June 1, 2001, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the son of Shelly Weaver and Tracy Zornes. Bobby was lovingly raised by his mom and father figure, Joseph "Chico" Sudar. He attended school at St. Michael's, Naytahwaush Elementary, Waubun High School and Mahnomen High School. He had a special relationship with Chico and continued to look to him for support over the years. At a young age, Bobby entered the workforce and became a father. He and Susan were blessed with three precious children whom he loved more than anything. Bobby worked for a short time at the Shooting Star Casino and was currently working in the Maintenance Department at the Behavioral Health Building, in addition to helping out with Bevins Towing. Bobby also enjoyed turning wrenches and fixing on anything. He was a self-taught mechanic and could fix anything with a motor. He overcame the trials and tribulations of being a young father and always worked hard to provide for his family.

When he was younger, he played football in high school and danced in pow wows and more recently, he spent his spare time playing Fortnite on his PS 4 with his siblings. Bobby really enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, leaching, riding 4-wheeler, playing softball, and harvesting wild rice, especially with his mom. He was an easy-going kid with patience and a great sense of humor. He constantly had a smile on his face, kept a positive attitude, never complained and was always willing to lend a hand when it was needed. Bobby loved meeting people and bs'ing with old and new friends alike. He didn't judge them and always seemed to leave a lasting impression on everyone he came across over his short time here on earth. Above all, he loved his family and will be greatly missed by many.

Bobby is survived by his girlfriend and mother of his children, Susan Rohrbach; children: Bobby, Bailey and Bellarose; his mother, Shelly Weaver; sisters: Taytum Weaver, Sheynelle Weaver, and Kyri Goodwin; brothers: Joseph Sudar, Kade Weaver, and Kvan Weaver; grandmas, Toni Weaver and Suzanne Zornes; in-laws, Violet Stately and Jack Rohrbach; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Vernon "Buggs" Weaver and Joseph Sudar; his meme, Doreen Sudar; uncles, Shawn and Jay Weaver and several extended family.
