Leonard "Lennie" Francis Oberg, of the Bear Clan began his journey from his home in Minneapolis MN, on January 11, 2024. He was born on November 24, 1977, to Fran and Brenda (Durant) Oberg in Cass Lake, MN.

Lennie loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was ALWAYS willing to help someone in need no matter what the circumstances were.

Those greeting Lennie in the spirit world are his grandparents, Leslie Oberg Sr., Violet Oberg, Joyce Durant, and David Durant; mom, Brenda Oberg; aunts, Louise Durant, and Marilyn Garbow; Uncle, Melvin Durant; nephew, Dominic Oberg

Those Lennie leaves behind are his best friend, Mandy Petz the mother of his son; dad Fran Oberg; son, Leonard Oberg, Jr .; brother, Les Oberg; sister, Maria Hyrkus-Paulley, and many other friends and family.

A one-day wake for Lennie will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 16, 2024, and continue until his 10:00 a.m. service on January 17, 2024, all to be held at the Mission Community Center in Cass Lake, MN. Lennie's Spiritual Advisor will be Adrian Liberty. Those helping to lay Lennie to rest are Mike Durant, Jared Rabbit, Anthony Sherman, Melvin Durant Jr., and Gordon Kingbird. Honorary pallbearers are all of his family and friends. Interment will follow the service at the Inger Cemetery in Inger, MN.
