Army Private First Class Reina June Strong Honored by O'bahsheeng Three Star Warrior Society at Oshkiimaajitahdah Event Center - P8

A dinner and honoring of Army Private First Class Reina June Strong was held at the Oshkiimaajitahdah Event Center on Thursday, December 28, 2023 by the O'bahsheeng Three Star Warrior Society, a veteran's organization and honor guard serving the Red Lake Nation. which included presenting her with an eagle feather to help her through her new journey and challenges.

Reina is stationed at Fort Novosel in Alabama, where she is training to become an Aviation Operation Specialist.

According to their website, Fort Novosel was named U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence in 2008 and serves as the headquarters for U.S. Army Aviation. While the garrison command manages the daily operations of the Fort Novosel community, the Aviation Branch Headquarters develops, coordinates and deploys Aviation operations, training and doctrine. After finishing Boot Camp in October 2023, she was deployed to Fort Novosel where she has been stationed ever since. She will return there on January 2, 2023 to complete her training.

Reina's parents are Brandon Strong and the late Cynthia Alvarado.
