Jourdain enlists with U.S. Army

Bryson Jourdain, Redby, MN. recently enlisted with a four-year tour with the U.S. Army on October 10, 2023. Private first class Jourdain is currently stationed at Ft. Leonardwood, Missoui with the Bravo Company, 35th Engineer Batalion.

He is the son of Daniel Jourdain, Bemidji, MN and Madonna Strong, Redby MN, maternal grandmother, Melodie Strong. Redby, paternal grandfather, Ron Perkins. Paternal grandmother Linda J. Buckanaga, Waubun, MN, paternal grandfather, Arlan Jourdain, hereditary chief, Red Lake, MN and Timothy St. Clair, Ogema, MN. Great-grandfather, the late John B. Buckanaga and Donna Buckanaga, Ponsford, MN and the late William & Elsie Jourdain, Littlerock.

He would also like to mention a special auntie in heaven, Mallory Strong.

Private first class Jourdain expects to graduate boot camp March 22, 2024.

Jourdain was honored by the Three-Star Warrior Society at the Red Lake Center and became a member of the -society on January 2, 2024. Invocation given by Private First Class' great uncle, Willy Strong, Redby, MN. Jourdain is a graduate of Red Lake High School.
