Red Lake Warriors open season with 92-56 win over Goodridge/Grygla - P12

RED LAKE, MN - The Red Lake Warriors opened their 2023-24 basketball season with an impressive 92-56 win over the visiting Goodridge-Grygla Tigers on Friday, December 1, 2023.

The Tigers scored first in the game, but that was the only time they would lead, as some hot shooting and a quick pace saw the Warriors take control and pretty much cruise to a 45-24 lead at the half, and on to the 92-56 victory.

Jack Brown led all scorers with 31 for the Warriors, followed by Gerald Kingbird Jr. with 25 and Tyrone Beaulieu hitting for 11 points.

Blake Rychloc led the Tigers with 21 and Lewis Jones added 15 points.

Red Lake will travel to Nashwauk-Keewatin on December 4th, host Northwoods on December 7th and travel to Clearbrook on December 12th.
