Charges: Man fled South St. Paul home with marijuana, shot and killed man following him

A man ran off with marijuana from inside a South St. Paul home, then soon turned around and fatally shot a man who was following him, according to charges filed Tuesday.

Anthony M. Fisher, 20, of Cambridge, Minn., was charged in Dakota County District Court with two counts of second-degree murder in connection with the shooting Friday of Avontae T. King, of South St. Paul in the 400 block of S. 3rd Avenue.

Also charged with the same counts was Tre M. Iglesias, 22, of St. Paul, who allegedly was at Fisher's side when King was shot.
